AN OLD-WORLD WEDDING
The chapel, the parish house, the reception hall — each carried across the Atlantic from Dijon and rebuilt, stone by stone, on this hillside.
You will not marry in a ballroom that could be anywhere. The chapel above the gardens is 400 years old, brought from Dijon and rebuilt here beneath its own stained glass, its interior lit at dusk by natural candlelight. Beside it stands the three-century-old Parish House, and, down the lawn, L'Orangerie — an old-world reception hall with its chandeliers and a rustic 16th-century stone fireplace. These are the true things of France, set down on a California hilltop for the length of your celebration.
For three days, from Thursday through Sunday, all 200 acres belong to you and yours alone — no other guests, no other schedule, only lavender meadows, vineyard, and sky. Your family wakes to the hills, wanders the gardens, and gathers each evening as if the whole estate were a country house passed quietly into your hands.
And because this is still Cal-a-Vie Health Spa, the week does not stop being restorative. Daily spa treatments continue for the wedding party, fitness classes run each morning, and every meal is a personalized menu from our executive chef. Your loved ones leave rested as well as celebrated — and you, married where four centuries of France came to rest.

Arrival

The Ceremony
